The multi
function switch for VF/AF and/or RF/IF
signals model MFS100 is housed in a
chassis which is 19“ wide and
two units high.
According to the requirements the MFS100
chassis can be fitted with modules VAS110
for VF/AF signals and RIS100 for RF/IF
signals. Each module disposes of six
inputs and one output.
The modules VAS110 and RIS100 are operating
like multiplexers, viz. one of the six
input signals is selected and taken
to the output. It is not necessary to
connect all inputs.
Up to four modules can be cascaded if
more than six inputs are required. This
way the maximum number of inputs can
be increased to 21.
